RCV 1000 Street Production

Do you still remember the figure of the Ducati Desmosedici RR? Yup, the motor is a street version of MotoGP motorcycle racing, Ducati Desmo limited released in the year 2006. Well, it seems that in the near future Ducati Desmosedici RR will have followers.



Is a Japanese manufacturer, Honda is reportedly ready to release RCV 1000. The bike is nothing but a version of the RC123V MotoGP at EICMA 2013 in Milan, Italy in November.

Some photos appear in social networking, and depict a future RCV 1000. Not just news phenomenal appearance. RCV 1000 is also claimed as a 'toy' which is very expensive, with a price of about Rp 1.3 billion!

Eits, do not be surprised. For comparison, the Ducati Desmosedici RR was already valued USD 740 million and is always up on the black market after the entire production totaled 1,500 units sold out. Of course the price is fantastic for the RCV 1000 is enough to feel the sensation of a over 200 BHP V4 engine owned RC123V Pedrosa and Marquez.



Ever since Honda President Takanobu Ito stated that development of a new RC213V inspired supersports was on- the motorcycle has largely remained a mystery. Except a few patent drawings surfacing on the web, Honda has been completely mum over the bike.

In fact it is even stated that Honda collectors have been invited to Japan for a private unveiling of the motorcycle well before the curtains are raised at EICMA.

To be more functional lauched on the highway, RCV 1000 has been revised in the electronics sector, and the characters are more streetable throttle. There are also LED lights on the headlamp application and license plate holder and a small stop lamp.

The plan will be released this bike new in 2015. But until EICMA 2013 was held, the Honda is still mum about the presence of RCV 1000.
