Renault Duster as Low SUV in Indonesia

PT Auto Euro Indonesia (AEI) as the holder of the Renault brand, will be lauch a Low SUV Renault Duster. Duster will debut his first appearance on automotive exhibition Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2013 which will be held on September 19 to 29 next. In Indonesia, the Duster SUV will compete with competitors in the compact SUV segment which is currently filled by Toyota Rush and Daihatsu Terios.

Given its shape, Duster will be dealing directly with the twin-Toyota Rush Daihatsu Terios. Compact SUV production base in India which has dimensions of 4,315 mm long, 1,822 mm wide and 1,695 mm high. While Toyota Rush has dimensions 4.405x1.745x1.740 mm (LxWxH).

Diesel engine was a logical choice given the ability to save fuel consumption. According to the standard test in India, Duster 83 hp version can print fuel consumption 20.45 km / l. While the 108 hp version recorded 19.01 km / l.

Interestingly, all the models will go on sale in Indonesia only rely on manual transmission. 83 hp version has 5-speed manual transmission, and 108 hp version equipped 6-speed manual transmission.
